J-1 Visa Program

J-1 Internship is a cultural exchange program in the United States to promote training opportunities and to enhance the skills and expertise of the participants in their academic and occupational fields by gaining first-hand experience of the culture.

Intern Program

Eligible participants in the Intern Program are full time students or recent graduates that will participate in a work based learning environment of up to 12 months to develop practical skills that will benefit their future careers.

Trainee Program

Eligible participants in the Trainee Program have either a degree or professional certificate from a postsecondary academic institution & at least one year of prior related work experience or five years of work experience

PARTICIPANT'S ELIGIBILITY

  • Participant must be aged between 18-30 years old.

  • Fluent in English communication.

  • Must have a valid passport with minimum of two years before expiration.

  • A current student studying a degree course in Hospitality or related subject to the desired internship. (The student must provide a proof of enrollment from the University and a confirming letter that they support the internship.

  • Be a recent Degree Graduate of not more than one year when applying for their visa, or a Degree Graduate with at least one year work experience.

PLACEMENT AREA, AVERAGE HOURS & WAGES

$9 -$12 per hour (minimum of 32-40 hours per week)
